Introduction:

• Realigned Valencia Road from Kolb Road to Old Vail Road, included a bridge over the existing railroad tracks.

• Term project, work as a team leader in four-person group.

• Built the roadway model in In-road v8i

 

The road way was divided into 4 parts.

1. Checked the turning radio from the code;

2. Added the roadway super elevation;

3. Verified the roadway diameters were following the project requirement;

4. Analyzed and applied the draining system; and

5. Integrated the roadway layout with elevation.  ( Fig.5-1 & 5-2)

• Earthwork report

 

Based on the data from our model in the program,  the earthwork volume was figured out in the project ,  which is less than 20,000 CY in the project requirement.
